St. Mary's is a parish Catholic school operating under the auspices
of the Diocese of Arlington and accredited by the Virginia Catholic
Education Association (VCEA). Grades pre-kindergarten through eighth
are offered.
Our Mission:
St. Mary’s School is part of the life of St. Mary’s Parish whose
mission is to make known the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to help
people grow in His Truth and Grace. We participate in this mission
as Catholic educators whose call is to communicate to our young
people an experience of God’s love and the teaching of Jesus in His
Church by means of the multi-faceted life of our school and the life
of the parish.
Eligibility
-
Children who
are age 4 and toilet trained by September 30 of the enrollment
year are eligible for a half-day, five-day-a-week
pre-kindergarten program. Attendance in pre-kindergarten does
not guarantee admission to kindergarten.
-
Children who
are age 5 by September 30 of the enrollment year are eligible
for kindergarten.
-
Admission
priorities exist. Primary consideration goes to siblings of
returning students currently attending our kindergarten through
eighth grade who are children of consistently active
parishioners of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Please contact the
Office of Admissions and Registration for more detailed information.
